Music Ministry

Music was a very important part of worship in the early Church. It continues to be an important part of St. Armands Key Lutheran Church worship life.  Every Sunday, at events during the Christmas and Easter holidays and other special times, music plays a key role of what St. Armands Key Lutheran Church offers.

Chancel Choir is the Musical Worship Leaders for the Traditional Worship Celebration and is made up of a talented and dedicated volunteer group of men and women. They are led by Choir Director Jane Hunder and are accompanied by Organist Lois Habib.  Chancel Choir sings a variety of choral music ranging from traditional Lutheran hymns to classical and modern anthems. Choir practice is every Wednesday night from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm from September to June. During the summer months, the SAKLC Summer Singers, a smaller choral ensemble, provides music at the Traditional Worship Celebration on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month.

Puppet Ministry

The Puppet Ministry uses the child-like wonder of puppet performance to share the love of God and the Good News of our Lord Jesus Christ. The ministry performs at services throughout the year and in the community during the holidays. Puppeteers practice as necessary for events.
